Double Glazing System

Product Details:

Providing and fixing of semi unitized structural glazing system to external faces of the

building either straight segmented as per the plan consisting of main panel work of vertical

aluminium sections of 131x67x2mm and horizontal Transom of 56x67x2mm. Aluminium Section

 made out of specially designed extruded sections and 15 microns anodized to approved color (15

microns). The mullion shall be fixed with structurally adequate 6mm thick GI Brackets. All the bolts

nuts and washers used shall be of G.I coated, EPDM gaskets of suitable profiles shall be provided at

all required positions to make the glazing airtight. The glazing shutter panels after being fabricated

shall be cleaned for removing any dust and Double sided structural adhesion tape shall stuck to the

glazing panel. Subsequently structural silicone DC995 as made by DOW CORNING or GE 4000 as

made by GE SILICONE make shall be applied. The glazing panel shall be given adequate

time for curing in horizontal position. The fixing panel to the mullion and transom frame work

shall be done by inserting. The shutter fixing cleat in the shutter profile and fixed with

8x38mm screws. The grooves between the glazed shutters shall be sealed using weather

silicone sealant DC  789 / SILPRUF as manufactured by the GE Silicones.

The Double glass shall be reflective glass of 6mm thick ST-136 heat strengthened

Graphite color glass plus 12mm air gap plus 6mm thick Toughened clear Glass Saint

Gobain make.
